Xiaomi started teasing its upcoming smartphone, the Poco X5 Pro, earlier this month. While the company has yet to officially confirm a debut date for the Poco X4 Pro successor on one of its web pages, information about it has now surfaced in the wild.
As shared by Sudipta Debnath, it appears to be a promotional video for the Poco X5 Pro that aired during a movie ad interval. Judging by the image, the Poco X5 Pro seems destined to debut in India on February 6. However, it is not known if the Poco X5 Pro will make its global debut on the same date. For example, the Poco X4 Pro was launched in India exactly one month after it debuted globally. In that case, the Poco X5 Pro is more likely to arrive globally a few weeks after the leaked February 6 Indian launch.
While the details of the Poco X5 Pro remain elusive, all available information points to it being a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. That means an FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, a 108 MP main camera, a 5000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 778G under the hood. We will keep you informed about this.
