A woman claims she saw her husband, who died nine years ago, in a restaurant’s Facebook photo.

The saga began when Spice Cottage in West Sussex shared images of diners enjoying themselves in their restaurant in a promotional campaign.

However, things took an eerie turn when a woman claimed in the comments below that she saw her late husband and son in the video.

In the woman’s comment, she asked the restaurant how long ago the footage was taken, adding that her husband had died nine years earlier.

“How old is this footage?” Lucy asked.

“My late husband and his son are on the first shot and he died in 2014??”

The restaurant replied saying, “Hi Lucy, sorry to hear this. These images were recorded last week.”

The post was inundated with hundreds of comments from intrigued Facebook users.

“I have so many questions!” one person noticed.

‘Can we get an update? I’m invested now,” added another.

“I need closure on this story,” said a third.

One person also noticed the strange coincidence that the footage from the restaurant was filmed on Friday the 13th.

While many have been begging for an update to the story, the woman who originally commented has yet to respond.
