A young Perth man miraculously escaped serious injury after being cleared by a moving car on a busy road.

The man, who was holding a bottle of orange Gatorade, was knocked off his feet when he hit the vehicle on Canning Highway in Applecross.

The nasty incident occurred on the eastbound highway lanes, where the speed limit is 60 kilometers per hour.

That probably happened on Saturday.

Footage from another car’s reversing camera shows the man running away from a TransPerth bus just before it was cleared away.

The pedestrian appears to be fine and immediately gets up.

The incredible footage was shared on Reddit and the poster said, “If this had been a second earlier he would have had a really bad time”.

Others agreed it was a lucky escape and warned against crossing busy roads without checking.

“Glad he’s okay, but running blindly in front of a bus was really stupid. Hopefully he learned a valuable life lesson,” one wrote.
