Man admits having dozens of indecent pictures on his mobile phone

A man has admitted to having dozens of indecent photos of a child on his mobile phone. Isaac Jezewski pleaded guilty to three charges of taking an indecent photo/pseudo photo of a child between 21 and 27 March 2021 when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court. Twenty-two were category B images, 46 were category C, and 24 were category A.

Cathy Thornton continued that police carried out a search warrant at the home of the 28-year-old, of Paul’s Rise, North Woodchester, Stroud, after receiving information from the National Crime Agency. After the images were found on his Samsung mobile phone, he was arrested.

Ms Thornton added that Jezewski had no previous convictions or warnings.

Defensively, Tim Burrows said: “We’re talking about a relatively small number of images overall. The violations go back two years and he has been seeking help ever since.”

The magistrates adjourned the case to return before them on the afternoon of March 15. They told Jezewski that he would have to sign the sex offender registry before releasing him on unconditional bail.
