Send now, Korg’s Drumlogue is, in our opinion, a flexible and powerful drum machine let down only by some somewhat questionable design choices.
One of our particular criticisms is the lack of a chromatic MIDI recording option, which allows users to explore the full potential of the Drumlogue’s built-in and expandable synth engine. However, the good news is that this has now been added as part of the new firmware update V1.1.0.
There are also new parameters for the nano user synthesizer, as well as a solo lock function. It’s also now possible to switch into mute and shift mode – also things we asked about in our review.
Whether that’s enough to convince you to shell out £529 for a Drumlogue is for you to decide, but you can continue your research into its capabilities at the Korg (opens in new tab) website.
